Job Description
This position is a primary level of the Quality Assurance Team who provides daily support through inspection activities in compliance to all procedures and standards to ensure safe and effective products are released from the Endoscopy Repair Center. This position is located at our Brooklyn Park Manufacturing Center. Candidates must be located within commuting distance to Brooklyn Park and work onsite 5 days a week.
Job Duties
Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Supervisor:
- Perform daily inspections on repaired endoscopy and endoscopy supporting electronic devices and accessories. With a primary focus on Medical and Surgical endoscopy products.
- Complete and maintain device history of service records both electronically and manually.
- Perform data collection and review of data accuracy and completeness both electronically and manually.
- Utilize and review technical documentation such as inspection standards and part drawings.
- Assist with the disposition of quality-controlled inventories and product quarantined form the production environment.
- Support 5S, Lean and other Good Manufacturing Practices both in the department and across the facility
- Support calibration and preventative maintenance activities as needed.
- Support all other Quality Assurance functions and responsibilities as requested.
Job Qualifications
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of Quality Assurance experience in the Medical Device Industry.
- Basic understanding of working in a regulated industry.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and be well organized.
- Flexible, reliable and dependable.
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office.
- Onsite position; no travel anticipated.
- Ability to work AM or PM shift as needed for the position opening.
Preferred:
- Two-year Associate or Technical degree preferred.
- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.
- Basic understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position in this location is $23.17 - $30.12 / hour, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
