Job Description

The Infrastructure Engineering Manager & Operational Technology Architect is responsible for implementing the relevant operational technology strategy initiatives, including implementation of innovative infrastructure and cloud architecture within the region. The role will ensure the delivery of innovative technologies and be responsible for reducing any disruption due to implementations. Moreover, this role contributes to the successful design, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure solutions that meet the requirements of the organization and ensures the most cost-effective approach is taken.

Job Duties

* Design, install, and develop infrastructure solutions, ensure alignment with the architectural vision, and monitor maintenance of running systems.


* Apply deep domain expertise to ensure that the infrastructure is in a correct and understood state.


* Perform technical checks, analyzing errors and tracking solutions of errors, planning, and performing upgrade and installation tests for assembly and validation.


* Contribute to the overall quality of service delivered to internal users and clients and supports the Service Operations Manager in continuing improvement of processes.


* Contribute to the planning of the overall infrastructure vision and coordinate information technology planning and execution for underpinning IT infrastructure solutions in the respective domain and/or region.


* Contribute to the roadmap for the development and evolution of the infrastructure that is appropriate for current needs as well as for future scalability.


* Plan and support the ongoing maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring minimized down time and all the house-keeping jobs are executed effectively on a daily, weekly, and yearly basis.


* Schedule and support backups and restoration of systems, and plan and test disaster recovery for the infrastructure.


* Develop methodologies and practices to manage and plan capacity based on projected growth rate to ensure performance remains at acceptable levels.


* Contribute to troubleshooting/problem analysis on IT infrastructure issues.


* Support the applications and product teams in dealing with critical incidents.


* Implement relevant operational technology (OT) strategy initiatives, including implementation of innovative infrastructure and cloud architecture.


* Collaborate with regional operations and IT teams to design the OT architecture, standards, and processes.


* Create and update documentations such as standards, technical reports, survey reports, operations manuals, and procedures related to OT.


* Ensure the delivery of innovative technologies and be responsible for reducing any disruption due to implementations.


* Ensure that the operational technology requirements are fully covered and met.

Job Requirements



* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field (or equivalent and related experience).


* Minimum 3 years’ experience with designing, deploying and managing IT infrastructure.


* Good understanding of fundamental computer architecture, networking, virtualization, storage and operating system components.


* Good knowledge of operational technology architecture and processes.


* Good understanding of IT architecture and interlinkage with infrastructure needs.


* Expertise in a specific domain of advantage.




* Experience with cloud infrastructure and familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) desirable.


* Demonstrable technical skills.


* Demonstrable business and technology acumen.
