Job Description

This position is responsible for supporting the Facilities Department and promoting quality improvements through activities that may include but are not necessarily limited to: supporting engineers with coordinating and implementing projects; interpreting explaining and applying codes rules and regulations involved in assigned maintenance activities; ensuring that production downtime is minimized and productivity is maximized; and collaborating with value streams and/or other applicable departments to solve technical facility related issues.

Job Duties

* Enter any new manufacturing quality or facilities equipment requiring PM into the maintenance software program.

* Ensure all safety programs policies and procedures are strictly followed. Ensure all applicable SOPS, GSOPS, and work instructions, policies, and procedures are strictly followed.

* Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all manufacturing quality engineering and facilities equipment when necessary.

* Communicate discrepancies to Facilities Manager in a timely manner.

* Participate respond and correct any audit findings pertaining to maintenance. Participate in internal and external audits.

* Ability to interpret audit results.

* Take corrective action as needed.

* Closely works with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specification. May act as the project coordinator for Facility related projects.

* Assists with maintaining building security and may be required to respond to building emergencies on a 24-hour basis.

* Solicits bids and quotes from outside vendors.

* Assists in training of other technicians in all aspects of maintenance. Assist other Facility team members in daily activities and projects and perform any other related duties assigned by Facilities Manager.

* Perform assigned task required in Agile and/or Oracle.

* All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


* A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A two year (2) Technical Degree is preferred.

* Able to obtain Special Boilers license within 1 year.

* Minimum of 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Must be able to work a flexible schedule on occasion including weekends and/or holidays.

* Ability to travel locally as needed.


* Experience in Agile and Oracle software upon hire a plus.

* Knowledge of ISO Class 7 Cleanrooms preferred.

* Experience in coordinating activities among departments or groups.

* Ability to operate a scissors-lift and forklift.

* Proficient in preventative maintenance software.

* Able to review C/O'S related to facility maintenance.

* Strong understanding of all HVAC systems including but not limited to: chillers, dry coolers, VAV'S, FPVAV'S, boilers, etc. 

* Proficient in Facilities Explorer software
