Job Description

To produce quality Medical Products in a systematic economical and timely manner as scheduled. To maintain discipline and morale of assigned employees in a professional and harmonious manner. To set forth and follow a prescribed course of self-improvement to effectively support the competence of OSTA in the marketplace.

Job Duties

  • Participate in and Direct production activities throughout all production departments as assigned.
  • Staff departments assign job duties and evaluate personnel performance if needed.
  • Maintains employee training records attendance records and personnel files and coordinates all department personnel functions.
  • Prepares and evaluates production reports.
  • Maintaining work area in accordance with GMP FDA ISO and company operation procedures and regulations and safety requirements.
  • Maintains compliance with company policies regarding employees assigning job duties and evaluating personnel performance.
  • All other essential related duties as required.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  •  High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of internal experience or may advance based on management s discretion and demonstrated job performance.
  • Must have detailed knowledge of the products processes and relevant skill sets. OR Three to five years of experience in a related supervisory position externally with experience in a manufacturing environment.

 

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of GMP required. Maintains confidentiality of documents and process.
  • Requires instructions only on new assignments.
  • May be required to operate manufacturing equipment including following training but not limited to microscopes test equipment adhesive dispensers' ultrasonic welders soldering irons.
  • May be required to operate measurement equipment following training (dial calipers pressure gages rulers). Maintain acceptable standards for attendance and punctuality and work overtime as needed.
  • Must have good communication skills a sense of ownership and a sense of urgency.
  • Supervise all production areas.
  • Internal: Works directly with Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Direct involvement in production process and equipment determinations for department.
  • Administers company policies and procedures and provides input to Director of Operations on same.
