Job Description

Oversees manages and directs a regional sales and support team for all EndoTherapy disposable and accessory sales activity. The Regional Vice President is the regional facilitator with a geographical influence on the overall Olympus business strategy with a focus on GI accessory sales to hospitals and ASC's. They responsible for revenue growth of all EndoTherapy products market share growth and Average Daily Demand growth. They are responsible for maintaining relationships with the Health Care Professionals within their geographical responsibility and working closely with their Olympus Capital RVP counterpart.

Job Duties

  • Plans directs and manages the activities of the EndoTherapy Territory Managers and Clinical EndoTherapy Specialists.
  • Responsible for Revenue growth of disposable products and all ancillary products as well as overall profitability of their region. Responsible for the recruitment hiring training development and disciplinary activity for their direct reports. Supports the company's HR and Professional Ethics policies and programs.
  • Plans and conducts periodic regional sales meetings to educate train and stimulate their direct reports. Develops business plan consistent with the direction of MSG leadership and the Area Vice President.
  • Conducts weekly Cadence Calls to identify and qualify opportunities and move business through the process to successful completion. Ensures full participation in the CRM program by the EndoTherapy Territory Mangers and Clinical EndoTherapy Specialists.
  • Has a deep understanding of the regional business opportunities and can delivers an accurate sales forecast based on this knowledge to the Area Vice President on a monthly basis.
  • Identifies opportunities for growth across all MSG businesses and communicates with the Enterprise Solutions personnel where possible leveraging opportunities may lie.
  • Coordinates and directs the daily activity of the EndoTherapy Territory Managers and Clinical EndoTherapy Specialists and other field support personnel to increase sales and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Establishes and maintains positive business relationships with physicians nurses and hospital administrators. Cultivates promotes and maintains Health Care Professional relationships on behalf of MSG within the Region by periodic personal visits.
  • Maintains a productive and beneficial relationship with clinicians and business executives within the Region. Assures all EndoTherapy Territory Managers and Clinical EndoTherapy Specialists are up to date and compliant with all asset tracking initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of the region's individual territories.
  • Represents top management as an advocate of the company and the division to all field personnel. Controls travel budgets of region.
  • Provides input and trend information to management and marketing personnel through weekly bullet reports Cadence Calls and frequent interaction with corporate personnel.
  • Knowledge of the endoscopy and related disposable device business medical business and hospital network system is a plus.
  • Must have an exemplary reputation among peers in order to provide leadership. Must be able to implement territorial regional divisional and corporate objectives for MSG. Must understand all business and financial applications relating to the EndoTherapy Divisional goals strategic and overall business to drive revenue and profit growth.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Bachelor's degree MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a proven successful Sales Representative in a related field; people management preferred.
  • Proficient in developing and following quarterly and annual business plans.
  • Strong closing skills. Ability to maintain and expand existing disposable run rate businesses.
  • Has experience with and is comfortable with CRM software (Salesforce).
  • Open to relocation.

 

Preferred:

 

  • Clinical or medical device selling/marketing experience strongly desired.
  • Proven track record of success.
  • A specialized knowledge of human anatomy/physiology and related diseases of the body where Olympus products might be utilized is preferred.
  • Has experience with and is comfortable with CRM software (Salesforce).
  • Excellent oral and written communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching ability.
  • Strong procedural and product knowledge. Strong understanding of customer base and business environment.
  • Excellent computer skills—Word Outlook Excel.
