Job Description

Job Duties

 

*  Designs QT UX firmware/software for embedded measurement systems, coding, unit testing and hardware/software system integration.

 

*  Designs QT UX frameworks and architectures for new projects.
 

*  Works collaboratively in a team environment and with outside contract services.

 

*  Performs design documentation and communication.

 

*  Adheres to Project Managements schedules and timelines.
 

*  May coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead) or serve as a mentor to junior employees or interns.

Job Requirements

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

*  Bachelor’s degree in engineering required (EE/CE/CS preferred).

 

*  3+ years of development experience in a QT/QML Firmware/Software environment.

 

*  Strong knowledge of UX development using QT/QML in a multi-threaded environment required.

 

*  Professional written and interpersonal skills required.

 

*  Able to work well individually and as a member of a team.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

*  Working knowledge of digital hardware, a plus.

 

*  Firmware/Software development for Analytical measurement instrumentation and hand-held electronic devices or gaming, a plus.

 

*  Development experience in an Embedded Linux environment a plus.

 

*  Working experience with Xilinx Petalinux, a plus.

 

*  Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.
