Job Description

The Salesforce Sr. Business Analyst I is responsible for managing and maintaining the Salesforce CRM platform at an senior level.  The Sr. Business Analyst I will focus on working overall improvement of the CRM platform as well as acting as a subject matter expert to the business as it relates to utilizing the CRM platform.

Job Duties

* Work within current processes to maintain Salesforce users, roles, security, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, customizations, report and dashboard development, data management, and support for AppExchange applications.

 

* Work with business partners to define and document current process and requirements. Leveraging experience in the system to optimize business process within CRM environment.

 

* Develop, manage, and troubleshoot Salesforce system issues, operations and maintenance. Perform root cause analysis to understand key trends / issues and pro-actively implement new measures to make the platform more stable.

 

* Analyze trends in Salesforce Effectiveness (SFE) platform data and data quality, and identify areas of improvement. Perform root cause analysis to understand key trends / issues.

 

* Identify and implement process improvements related to the SFE platform. Present process improvement recommendations to SFE Manager.

 

* Create complex custom objects, formula fields, validation rules, page layouts, record types and custom buttons.

 

* Perform complex data uploads using Salesforce Data Loader.

 

* Create complex workfows and approval processes along with custom approval processes.

 

* Create complex flows using Process Builder and Visual Flow.

 

* Deploy configuration and code change sets from development to sandbox and production environments.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in Sales Operations, Training, Technical Project Management or Business Analyst role preferred.

 

* Salesforce Certification or CPQ Certification is required.

 

* Minimum of 5 years of experience including: Sales Operations / training / support / business analysis / analytics environment is required.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Experience in process development, optimization, training, or analysis preferred; experience with Salesforce or other CRM highly preferred.

 

* Salesforce Administration experience is highly preferred, Project Management experience a plus.

 

* Experience in customizing and building complex Salesforce custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and approval processes is preferred.

 

* Experience with Apttus and/or Salesforce CPQ is preferred.

 

* Proven ability to train users of a system; Knowledge of adult-learning principles a plus.

 

* Strong data management abilities.

 

* Strong MS Excel and data transformation skills.
