Job Description

The Manager, Internal Audit- Integration is responsible for both performing and leading all audit integration activities in the America’s region and partnering with the four other regional groups (APAC, China, EMEA, andJapan). They will gather input from each regional head to help coordinate Global Audit activities. The ability to speak fluent Japanese is required.

Job Duties

* The Manager, Internal Audit-Integration must develop and implement strategic plans to reach the goal of helping the five regional audit teams function as one cohesive unit to execute the Chief Internal Audit Officer’s strategic vision of becoming a best in class Global Audit Function.

 

* The ability to communicate effectively across all regions is very critical to fulfilling every day responsibilities of this role.

 

* The individual must be able to explain their work to top executives and give clear instructions to each region.

 

* They must have the ability to research new technologies, consistent deploy improvements and bolster both internal (Audit function) and externalcommunication channels (Business partners, consultants, etc).

 

* The individual must be capable of leading andmotivating teams or departments so that workers are efficient and effective.

 

* The role will provide leadership anddirection during the transition to one cohesive Global function.

 

* The individual will coordinate the work of several different audit departments to make the Global Function and audit programs run efficiently.

 

* The individual will also lead and execute Global Audit programs and report on their findings.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Strong academic history with a Bachelor’s degree (accounting, business, finance, concentration, is preferred) is required.

 

* Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or auditing in a multinational company (Japanese Company is preferred) with relevant industry experience is desired. CPA or CIA certification is required.

 

* Fluent in both Japanese and English is required.

 

* Travel may be up to 30% once COVID restrictions are lifted and may contain destination outside of the continental united states. This position will have the ability to have a hybrid schedule agreed upon during the hiring process, but will be expected to report to work at least 2 days a week.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* PMP, CISA or other professional certifications are highly desired.

 

* Integration Manager should be proficient in Project Management, Procedures, and Business Processes. They will utilize Analytical, Business, and Communication skills within their job function.
