Job Description

The primary role of the Global IBP Lead & Head of Demand is to lead the execution and the continuous improvement of the IBP Process, alongside owning, designing and continuously improving the Demand Planning process across all units globally.

Job Duties

* Lead the design and continuous improvement of the templates for each step of the IBP process and its execution. Translate cross-industry best practices into implementable and meaningful templates for the organization

 

* Lead all relevant stakeholders through the change journey to achieve best-in-class process maturity

 

* Liaise with the owner of all feeder processes (Product Lifecycle Management, Demand Planning, Master Planning, S&OE, Financial Planning, Strategy Execution, etc.) to improve quality and meaningfulness all of data sets fed into the IBP process

 

* Define agenda and flow of all reviews to position IBP as strategy-deployment process, strongly supported by the relevant feeder processes

 

* Maintain close collaboration with all relevant business leaders. Leverage the IBP process to achieve best-in-class cross-functional integration and support achievement of the defined strategic goals

 

* Pass the set of assumptions, set of numbers, escalations and key outcome from each IBP review to rest of process and relevant stakeholder

 

* Act as organization’s thought leader in the domain of IBP, stay abreast of latest cross-industry best practices and connect with relevant external thought leaders 

 

* Design and own the demand planning process globally. Own the templates which support the required process steps and continuously adapt the process to the evolving business needs

 

* Ensure that all demand planning activities globally happen on time and with the right level of quality

 

* Train and coach the demand planning community to achieve the right skillset

 

* Bring external best practices into the organization, act as thought leader in the domain of Demand Planning and foster a climate of continuous improvement across all units globally

 

* Develop and deploy process and team’s competencies assessment framework with the objective of building up process maturity and planning team’s skillset

 

* Animate a global community of demand planning practitioners to support cross-team knowledge sharing and prompt scale-up of good practices

 

* Maintain strong link between demand planning process and planning technology, stay abreast of latest technological development in the domain of planning

 

* Create strong collaboration with adjacent functions (Global Sales & Marketing, Global Finance, BU Leadership, etc.) to position demand planning as tactical enabler of the company’s commercial efforts

 

* Facilitate cross-Regional standardization and continuous improvement of Demand Planning processes and tools

 

* Represents demand planning into workstreams to acquire, design and improve planning technology platforms

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* College, university, or equivalent degree required.

 

* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience strongly preferred, including 4-5 years of experience as a manager.

 

* Significant cross functional exposure required, including managerial and budgetary experience.

 

* Broad business and overall SC knowledge required.
